Sm57 on acoustic guitar
Webb19 maj 2011 · I understand that the SM57 is the best choice for recording guitar - it seems to be pretty much a universal opinion - but what does anyone think about the large diaphragm mics like: It's not a question so much of this particular model but these designs in general. Are they better/worse than an SM 57? Webb29 okt. 2008 · I think they work great together, and I use both mics in live situations weekly with our worship band. Since you are using the mic primarily for the acoustic guitar, I would recommend the sm94 over the sm57, but I would also suggest that at some point you get both. It's always good to have an extra sm57 and sm58 during recordings and gigs.
